Ruppert
|

Moose
|
| Moose and Ruppert came to our rescue
because their Mom had to move overseas
for her job. The day she had to drop them off was a very sad day
for them
and for her. I knew the minute I saw them that they were a very
bonded pair
and that they would need to stay together forever. |
Sadly Moose has passed onto the "Rainbow
Bridge". He will be deeply missed.
Dec. 8th, 2007
Luckily for Moose and Ruppert, a couple
from northern Wisconsin understood the importance of that too and had
no problem adopting them both! They are now happily living with
a new Mom and Dad where they are spoiled every day with lots of
love and attention.

Max
|

Paws
|
Beloved Shih Tzu of Joan and family
6/1/1993 - 11/14/06
Max was brought into rescue because his
owner
had passed away. He was taken to a humane society to be put to
sleep. His foster mom was lucky to have had the pleasure of
getting to know him. Because he was 11 years young, we initially
had a hard time placing him, until three guardian angels came to us to
give him a forever home to live out his golden years.
Max now has a cat sister whom he is very curious about but keeps his
distance
and three wonderful people in his life that will give him all the love
and attention he can handle. His new home is in central Wisconsin.

companionship she craved for 4 years. |
Buddy

to a nursing home. He is a sweet, loving little guy who is now in his
new home in central WI with his new Mom and Dad who think the world of
him. His Mom tells me that he is her best "buddy."

Misty
|

Smokey
|
Misty came into rescue from a "free to
good home" ad. Her past owner did not get the drops prescribed
for an infection in her eye. After all, a dog doesn't need 2 eyes
to continue to breed her and have her keep having pups. This
infection manifested into eye damage that caused Misty to become blind
in her right eye by the time she came into rescue. Misty is a
very, very sweet 5 year old. She now lives in east central WI
with her new Mom and Dad, human sister, and Shih Tzu brother who love
her very much. She is now spayed and will never be used for
breeding or be neglected again.
|
Smokey is 10 years old and has had a very
rough life. He deserves to live out his golden years surrounded
in love. Smokey has finally found his forever home where he is an
only child. He lives in northern WI where he is dearly loved by
his new Mom and Dad.
June 9, 2008
Bless little Smokey who has gone to the Rainbow Bridge today due
to having a stroke. We believe he was about 14 years old. He lived the
last 4 years of his life in a loving home and had the life he should have had
