JoJo was an owner surrender to rescue due to her owner having a terminal illness. She has since been adopted to a home in south central WI in 2002.
Petey was found as a stray in the St. Louis, MO area and rescue was contacted to take him.  He has since been adopted to a wonderful home in IL and has two Shih Tzu siblings to play with.

Pepper came to me as an owner turn in from central WI in August of 2002.  She had just given birth 9 weeks earlier to a litter of pups and the owners no longer wanted her.  She was a very special little girl who fit into our household perfectly.  She now lives in eastern WI with her new Mom and Dad and a Cock-a-Poo brother, who she loves to play with.
I got Lexie as a stray from a local shelter in the fall of 2002.  She was in terrible shape when brought in to the shelter, with two big fish hooks embedded in her leg and mouth and she had to have her right eye removed due to severe ulceration.  Through it all she had tail wags and kisses for everyone.  She now lives in a wonderful home in the Milwaukee area with her new Mom and Dad and has several Shih Tzu brothers and sisters to play with.  (See Lexie's Story)
